Trail Complete

A huge day for us. After just over three years of planning and hard work, the alpaca trekking pathway is complete.

The Process

It took a lot of planning both with the council and on our own part to even begin the construction of the trail. We were very careful not to damage any trees, in fact not one tree was cut down during the laying of the pathway.

Excavators, rotavators, loaders, quads, wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes were used, not to mention the trusty roller.

Somewhere between 400 and 500 tonnes of blinding stone was delivered during the pathways construction. There are nine bridges and a lot of fencing and rope.
