Go on the lovely alpaca trek with excellent guides! – This is a lovely couple of hours to spend in the countryside and it really is suitable for all ages. We did the alpaca trek with two excellent guides… read more called Ellen and Amelia. They really helped to make the whole walk interesting and enjoyable. The animals are clearly very happy, healthy and well looked after. There is the cutest little coffee hut with delicious coffee and traybakes at the end of the walk. Amelia hand makes the jewellery which is sold there and I bought a very pretty bracelet for my granddaughter. Thoroughly recommend the whole event and venue.

  Brilliant experience…  – We had a lovely trek with Cappuccino and Frappa. Our ranger, Sarah, was brilliant. Full of information and guidance. She also makes great tea and coffee!!!

  Restful escape in Ballyburren  – We had an amazing few days at Pinewood Lodge, a complete escape in stunning surroundings. The lodge facilities were perfect, we loved the outdoor spaces and hot tub and indoors… read more the kitchen had everything we required for our four-night stay.
The rainfall shower was lovely, and the soft bedding made for a great night’s sleep.
Best of all were the wonderful staff, Ellen, Phillip, Ivanna, Reuben, and my favourite girl, Daisy, all went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome, including delivering our breakfast box, which was a delicious way to start each morning.
We did the alpaca trek and enjoyed a lovely, peaceful walk through the grounds, which we can thoroughly recommend.
We can’t wait to visit again and enjoy the peace and tranquillity the combination of beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, and total tranquillity made this a stay to remember.
