Spring has arrived at Ballyburren, and Easter is the perfect time to get outdoors, stretch your legs and enjoy the countryside coming back to life. This year, we’re celebrating Easter with a full week of alpaca experiences — fresh air, friendly faces and a little seasonal magic along the way.
Alpaca Trekking All Week 🦙
For the first week of April, we’ll be running alpaca trekking every day from Monday 30th March through to Sunday 5th April.
Spring is one of the most beautiful times to walk the Ballyburren landscape. The fields are waking up, the days are brighter and there’s a real sense of new beginnings in the air.
Our guided alpaca treks are relaxed, personal and full of character. Walking side by side with these gentle animals naturally slows the pace, making it a wonderful Easter activity for couples, families and friends.
Whether you’re visiting during the school holidays or planning a special Easter outing, it’s a chance to create memories outdoors.
Wednesday’s Special: Alpaca Meet & Interact
On Wednesday 1st April, we’ll be hosting our popular Alpaca Meet & Interact session instead of trekking, perfect for younger visitors.
Spend time getting to know our alpacas up close, learn about their unique personalities, hear fun and interesting alpaca facts, and enjoy the opportunity to feed them during the session.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities too — the perfect way to capture your Easter visit.
After your interact session, families can enjoy a gentle walk along our Woodland Fairy Trail, adding a little extra magic to the day. No Easter outing would be complete without a treat — our coffee trailer will be open with snacks, drinks and seasonal Easter favourites to enjoy before heading home.

We’ll be adding a little extra Easter charm throughout the week, with festive decorations around to make your visit feel even more special.
